Full name: Emin Sun
Age: 16
Height: 5'7"
Appearance: Sandy blonde hair characterizes this boy. He has a healthy tan upon his skin, a bronzed glow from spending so much time outside in the dead of summer. Over the winter he tries to maintain this tan as healthily as possible with spray ons. His sister is extremely conscious of unhealthy practices and thus he does not go to tanning booths but splurges on spray tans. He has baby blue eyes and an adorable face. His smile is, by far, one of his best features. Still innocent and wide it easily charms people.
Place of Birth: Orlando, Florida
Originally from: Hamilton, On.
Education: Part way through Highschool, had been planning on moving into Grade 11
Previous Career(s): None
Interests: Emin enjoys summer activities to the fullest. He loves swimming in open water and has always wanted to take up surfing. He enjoys boating as well as simply lounging on the beach. Walking, biking and rollerblading under the hot sun are all things he enjoys. He's addicted to hot weather and never really enjoyed his parent's move to Canada two years prior.
Personality: Emin has a cheerful personality during the summer. He's upbeat and adventurous. He dares to stay out during the entire day and enjoy himself in any way possible. He never lets a summer go to waste. He has an infectious laugh and personality during these times that brings people closer to him. Though during cold weather it can be a very different story. Emin despises the cold and when he is cold and uncomfortable he can become quite a handful. Whiny and fidgety he decides to complain for extended periods that leave people wanting to give him a sharp smack. His moods are not so much dependent on the weather but his own body temperature. If he is warm and comfy he's happy and carefree but in bad conditions he can become quite the pain in the ass of those closest to him.
Reason for not taking substance DDM: Emin did not really have a choice in either option for taking the substance. His elder sister, Ava, did not agree with the taking of medicine when you were clearly not ill. She could understand the taking of it should they become ill but the family was healthy and strong. She took her younger brother under her wing and convinced him to think the same way.
History: Emin was born in the midst of a Florida summer, blistering heat and adventure lingering in the air. He grew up in this heat, his family taking frequent vacations to Mexico and other tropical islands for Fun in the Sun. He always adored the heat and the meaning of summer. Summer meant freedom and summer meant having a good time. Enjoying yourself and forgetting anything else. Winter and Fall meant school and uncomfortable cold patches.
Imagine his disdain when his parents decided to move up to Canada, a place imagined to be so frigid that he would surely freeze up like a Popsicle. Needless to say he was not amused. However he was forced to come along, following his dad's job up North.
He was surprised that summers up in Canada could be just as nice and warm as back in Florida. However....the winters were absolutely brutal for him. He became an absolute misery to his family and friends during this time. He hates the snow, he hates downpours of cold rain and he hands having to defrost after shoveling the drive way.
At the introduction of this vaccine he would have been fully prepared to take it. He wasn't the kind of kid to disagree with something when he had little knowledge of it. His sister, on the other hand, vehemently disagreed to the taking of a drug. She convinced him to stay on her side for the fear that he would lose her, his greatest ally. As a result the pair was taken to the fort. Though they take solace in the fact that they are together.

Terrell had never really aimed to stay in the small nameless village forever. It had been his home for 18 years and now it was time to depart on his way. He'd managed to get to the port over the course of two weeks and the bustling city was everything he imagined. Busy, hustling with adventure and intrigue. Only more could be found in his future at sea.
Terrell had always been a stubborn boy. A bratty boy when he was younger. He had never gotten much but he'd gotten his way with people. With the girls he was rude, with the boys he was snappy and with adults he was as smooth as caramel sugar. Though being told he was wrong sent him into a dizzying fit of anger.
But he'd gotten his way in the end and the village was happy for it. He'd wanted adventure and now he would receive it. He'd found a man passing through the village who claimed there was a ship who needed an apprentice...a cabin boy. Sure it was a low level to start but things could only go up. And who knew....by 25 he could be the captain of his own vessel. Oh the possibilities were endless and he hoped for....no, he expected the best.
Now all he had to do was find the ship and the captain of it. The stranger from the ports had promised to mention his name when he returned and notify the captain of his arrival. He was here on the right day, right before cast off. And that nice fancy big ship looked to be about perfect.
His perfect future.
He saddled the bag on his shoulder, filled with a couple changes of clothing. A pair of extra pants and a few tunic shirts along with a leather vest and a jacket to keep him warm. He had only one pair of shoes and a tie for his fiery red hair that hung like straw behind him. He'd never had the heart to cut it too short for it frizzed out like that of a wild beast. At least when it was longer he could tie it back. Fascinated brown eyes gazed around him, looking for this captain as his boot heels tapped anxiously.
What if no one arrived for him? What if it was all a sham?
