Mojo had finished her drink by the time Sid had started his speech. She called down a waitress and ordered another before shifting around on her chair getting more comfortable. Biting her lip, she grabbed her leg and tried to see cross legged on the chair. She was able to hold her liquor pretty well so another wouldn't hurt her just yet. She knew he limits and it hadn't even come close to it yet.
Leaning back she continued to listen to Sid. There were a lot of points she agreed on and she herself felt strongly upon. For one she had never once believed anything she heard from the media and government. To her it was always some kind of cover from what was really happening. She remembered back when they were parading around talking about the recessions and how it was over. She knew that it wasn't over when millions of people had been out on the streets without jobs and home. Mojo had been more then grateful her parents had let her think for herself but there was a lot she had agreed on. It was one of the reasons she was here instead of out there. She had refused to take the drug not believing it did what they said it did. Her theory was that instead of a cure they were spreading something. Sure she didn't have proof of it but it was something that she believed strongly. She felt extremely strong about this that she would rather be dead then have to take the drug.
Mojo continued to listen to Sid nodding every so often. The thing that struck her odd was that he had brought this up so early. They really didn't know each other and she thought a topic like this was, to her, better kept for a later time. However, he had started it and Mojo was not going to just brush it off. At least she knew he wouldn't think of her as insane seeing as they shared some views. "That problem with that is our army is very small and very shitty to say it in lamens terms." she told him. A lot of the people that lived here were just trying to have a peaceful life without the hassle of having to worry about the crap in the world. "They aren't fighting material. Sure there is a handful that could cut it, but it's not that easy to get together people willing to risk their lives for a theory. Especially one coming from two nut jobs like us. she teased at the last part sighing. She would love to know what was really going on out there and anywhere really. There was so much that was hidden from the people it wasn't fair.

Sid sighed a sign of relief. At best he figured Mojo would take him for a nut job, at worst he would get reported and eventually 'dealt with' whatever that meant. He was taking a huge risk telling Mojo this, after all they hardly knew each other. If there was one super-power that Sid knew he had it was a sixth sense for finding the right people for the right jobs. Ever since he was a kid, he seemed to know people. Sure he made mistakes, after all he was only human but for the bulk of the time he had made close friends, refrained from making enemies because he would avoid those people and somehow he had a knack for finding like-minded people. He figured that if he tried really hard to devolve this 'power' he could probably gather a cult together; now that would truly make him insane. Plus he didn't really have the patience or the need or the determination to start a cult. An army however, that was different story.
The waitress had stopped by and Sid ordered a rum and coke. He looked around at the crowd, it seemed to have become even more crowded, if that was possible, he was glad they had found the seats, he could feel his body re-fueling and he would soon be ready to go back to dancing, but first he had to wrap up the loose ends of this conversation.
"Now don't get me wrong, the army wouldn't necessarily be a very physical one, especially in the first stages. The first stages will be all planning and gathering. We need to gather information about the outside world and the information on the inner working of our town too. We need to know as much as we can about the people who live here, the people who work here from the outside and all their schedules. We need to find entry and exist points within this city that are not monitored in the same manner as the main ones. This time, as corny as this will sound, it really is a matter of not how many people we have, but how good the people we have are." Sid paused and scratched his head, hoping this was all making sense, especially the last sentences. He knew that this wasn't going to be an overnight job, frankly he figured it might take years. He decided to mention that too; "this isn't going to be an overnight job, eh? This might even take years." He sighed at the thought, he liked to live in the present and the thought of something taking years to complete kinda turned him off from the whole idea of it.
His drink arrived and he paid the waitress for his and Mojo's drink. He took a few sips and continued "we will need to find more like-minded people in this town and I'm going to try to strengthen my contacts in the outside world, they're living in hiding but I might try and get a hold of them. I find that the newer members of Q-towns community are more willing to find a way out because they survived so much longer in the outside world without being caught so we're going to have to keep an eye out for them. I just hope they're not too eager and I hope they can shed some light on what's really going on out there. In any event, I hope you're willing to join me in this task because there is really so long I can live here without having my curiosity drive me up the wall." Sid finished, he took a few more sips of his rum and coke, they really weren't skimpy on the alcohol content of their drinks here at Boom bar he was damn glad for that.

Mojo sat there taking small sips to make the last of her drink last hoping the new one came quickly. Before she could do anything, she pulled back and groaned holding the top of her heard. Yes once again even if she was drinking slowly, she had managed to give herself a brain freeze. She was the only one that she knew that could do that. Even if it was the least coldest liquid she would be wincing in pain from the cold. Shaking her head, she looked at Sid and nodded wanting him to continue what he was saying.
Hearing the others thoughts and ideas made her remember her childhood. Her mother had always been babbling about one thing or another whether it was the conspiracy behind this or that. It was a constant war against her and the government. Her father was the same way only his war was against him and the entire world. No matter who you could be talking about he would find a way to turn it around so that person was lying. He had been a very paranoid man to say the least. In the end, the paranoia had taken over and he was put away in an institute, against her mothers wishes. The authorities had said she had no choice for he was a harm not only to himself but everyone around him. They had told them this after arresting him in the park where he had been running around naked after people. His mind was so warped he thought he was fighting off government officials when in reality he had been attacking innocent and mortified kids and their parents. In the end, they had done what they needed to. To this day he still sits there muttering to himself about the UFO's that will one day come to save him from the conspiracy that is this earth.
Mojo herself was a firm believer that there was always something being hidden from the public but she was able to keep her thoughts to a minimum where it didn't cause her to go insane. It was easier living like that instead of worrying about going crazy like her father had. Shifting in her seat, Mojo let Sid finish before she said anything again. "I am aware it will take years and we could be dead before we even find anything out." she told him knowing it all wasn't going to happen in an instant. It was even harder when they were stuck in a high security bubble to make sure no one got infected by the virus, or that's what they had been told. Either way it was hard to get out of this place once you were on the inside. Mojo would know, she had tired it once and now she has a scar running down her arm. "Of course I'll join you, I wanna know what is going on as much as you do. You just need to promise that you won't hide anything you find out from me. No matter what it is." she bargained with him not sure he would really want to do that. Why should he, they barely knew each other.

Sid sipped his drink and suppressed a laugh when he noticed that Mojo seemed to get a brain freeze, sensitive much? He thought. He scratched his head and let out a tiny burp, covering his mouth and turning away for a minute, sure it was rude but he was a dude and he drank beer earlier, beer always made him burp.
He sat motionlessly for a moment as he contemplated the terms of their agreement. He thought about Owen and their meeting at the farmhouse, what a night. Owen had told Sid that he had found some information in the archives and they had made some unspoken agreement similar to this one. He figured he ought to let Owen know about the supposed army he was trying to build before he gave up the information that Owen had and will be giving him. It’s only fair; it was not his information to give out to Mojo, at least not yet.
“Ok, so here’s the deal: I have another person, his name is Owen, who I feel will be willing to join our army. I know that he has information that would be very beneficial for our purpose. However I feel I should ask him to join first and provide him with our ‘no withdrawn information’ pact first before I tell you what he has told me. Is that ok?” Sid asked, to him this was the only negotiating he felt he could do. He took another sip of his drink, he had only a bit left and as soon as he finished he would be ready to go back on the dance floor.

Mojo finished making her odd brain freeze face before shaking her head again. Once the initial pain wore off she was back to drinking her drink again even if it did cause a second brain freeze. She was one of the only people that could get a brain freeze that quickly. After realizing this she never accepted bets that were based on who can get a brain freeze first because she knew she would be the one. Finishing off her drink, she set it aside and listened to what Sid was saying.
She hadn't expected him to agree hell she figured he would be up and out of there pretty fast. Instead he was making another deal with her so theirs would work. Thinking about what he was saying she nodded and put her wig back on. She was ready to go back to dancing and it seemed like their conversation was coming to an end for now. "That's reasonable I mean it's not your information to share to begin with." she told him completely understanding the situation. She would have done the same had it been positions reversed. "Are you talking about Owen Thomas. Cause if you are I met him in the park the other day." she added not sure why she needed to tell him such a useless fact but there it was. Mojo needed to learn how to filter out what to say.

Sid was glad when Mojo agreed to the terms of the deal. He wanted her to be on his side but he did not want to sacrifice the information he had or Owen's friendship without the need to do so. He was also surprised when Mojo told him that she had met Owen already. That would bypass the awkward introductions. Hope fully they had met and ended their meeting on a good note or else there might be trouble. Better to ask Sid thought and proceeded to do just that "So you met Owen, eh? Did you guys hit it off? Did he seem like a good guy?" He asked, he almost sounded desperate. Hopefully it wasn't too obvious in his voice. He just wanted to know, the idea of having this army was growing on him and he really wanted it to work out. There was so much he didn't know about the events that occurred over the last year and this was his only key to answers.
He chugged the remainder of his drink and set the glass sloppy down on the table disregarding the coaster. Sid ran his fingers over his bald head and did a quick arm stretch. He noticed Mojo putting her wig back on; that was his cue that it's time for dancing. He got up tucked his chair in, fixed his vest and walked over to Mojo's side slid her chair out and handed her his hand as a courtesy. "Ready for a few more dances?" he asked almost rhetorically as he lead towards the stairs up to the dance floor.

Mojo had remembered that one extremely hot summer morning in the park where she had met Owen. She wasn't too sure but she might have insulted the other in some kind of way. He had just seemed to be acting as if he had been. She shrugged her shoulders a bit at Sid's questions and thought about it for a moment. "Well he seemed like a nice guy but I might have insulted him in someway. I'm not sure. My mouth tends to wander further from my brain then it should." she admitted not really sure what had happened between them there. But she knew if she ever saw him again she would try to fix it. It not good having enemies in a place where no one notices your sudden disappearance.
Watching Sid finish his drink, she took this as a sign that he was ready to get back to dancing. She had cooled off and refreshed herself so she was good to go. Laughing softly, she took his hand and got up off her seat. "Lead the way." she told him and followed Sid out onto the floor. The music was finally reaching her ears again and she was glad of it because she knew the song and it would be easy to get into the rhythm.

Sid laughed at the the thought of Owen being mad. Sid had an overactive imagination so as soon as Mojo mentioned Owen being angry he went to visual. He imagined Owen as a cartoon character with an over-expressive angry face. It was very amusing and Sid couldn't help but laugh out loud. They had reached the dance floor so his laughter was drowned out by the loud music. He saw that Mojo was getting into the beat of the song and so, even though he didn't know the song, he started to shake his stuff too. It was a jive song, one of his favorites so he busted some moves like those he had seen in the movie 'swing kids' among other ones that he had become accustom to.
In the old world he used to go to a club called the Underground. The Underground featured different dance styles and music from the ages that were either banned or considered...well...underground. That included everything from swing, jive, to ska music to raves. Sid considered The Underground his teacher, he learned about all the different dance and music styles and felt he was more open minded because of it.
He decided he was a fan of this song and wanted to ask Mojo what it was. He gathered up a bit of breath and shouted near her ear "What is this song called?" he asked, she looked like she enjoyed it just as much and therefore he hoped she would know what it was, maybe he could find it among some of the old cd's he had brought with him that his friends donated to him. There were hundreds of the sitting in his house and he just didn't have the time or patience to go through them all. Downloading music was prohibited in Q-town and because of the size of the population it wasn't difficult to catch whoever attempted to download anything illegally.
