Emin sat on the edge of the pool, dangling his toes in the water. This Fort was no fun at all for a teenage boy of his caliber. Nothing here was fun. The pool was empty save some beer bottles at the bottom...tossed there the night before. Or perhaps the night before that. He couldn't really be sure. There was no real staff at this pool and that made it incredibly dangerous. He'd heard that a kid drowned here a couple weeks back, couldn't swim and his friends tossed him in. Drowned. Nobody here to save him and his friends weren't much help. Emin was a strong swimmer, he'd grown up in Florida. Water was a way of life when the weather was hot, it was one of the best parts of hot weather.
Though today was not hot enough to go swimming here, and the water far too frigid to enjoy. The friends lacking. Emin had no friends here, he had his sister but she was at work. She worked at the Sexual Needs store or something like that. An open girl about sex and freedom but not about medicine or the state. A strange girl but she was his older sister and he loved her to bits.
He was here after all.
Mind you this pool probably wasn't the best place to hang in this whole place. There had to be better spots.

Owen walked along the pool's edge looking in as he noticed the beer bottles lying at the base of the pool. Owen was disgusted and secretly hoped that the idiot's who put them there would return later on so that he could set them straight. With children around this town, beer bottles at the base of a pool were not something that they needed to be playing around.
He removed his shirt, shoes, and socks and was just about to dive in, when he noticed someone else near the pool. A little shocked at his own lack of awareness, he stopped himself. "I hope you don't mind, I'm just going to go in for a moment to grab those bottles. I would like to think that it wasn't you who put them there."

Emin glanced over as someone new entered the swimming area, his knees curled up to his chest he rested his chin on a kneecap. Arms looped around his shins. He watched and the man hadn't seemed to notice him. He went about his business looking to the bottom of the pool and seeing the beer bottles. He was upset with them enough to want to go down himself to fetch them it seemed. He was now removing his shirt and shoes in order to go down and get them.
"Why would I mind?" Emin questioned from his continued position.
"And I don't do that kind of thing," he scoffed angrily. Frowning distinctly he watched the man still. Emin had a thing for people, he either liked you or he didn't. It was quite often on first glance he didn't like you. He missed his friends from home still and didn't want to go throwing himself on new people. No way no how.

"Now now, I wasn't accusing you, I was just saying." Owen took a strong leap and split the pool's surface with precision. He had expected the waters to be a little cooler than they were, and he felt that he was enjoying his swim rather immensely. He scooped all of the bottles under his arms and kicked up from the base. There was quite a bit of sand and a few insects at the bottom of the pool, but other than that, it was quite clean, which also was surprising.
As he resurfaced, Owen placed all of the bottles on the edge, and hoisted himself out of the water. Shivering slightly from the slight breeze, he quickly got back into his clothes. "You know, it seems a lot warmer in there on second thought..." He sat down and struggled to put his socks and shoes on over his wet feet. Picking up the bottles he placed them in the nearest recycling bin, and made his way towards the teenage boy.
"My name's Owen, mate. No harm eh? I wasn't saying it was you. Just sort of angry at the hooligans around here, you know?"
